~Founder & CEO of Jayaka Fusion Fashion
Hello, I’m Jaya Deo, a Computer Engineering graduate, tech enthusiast, wellness advocate, and the Founder & CEO of Jayaka Fusion Fashion—a brand deeply rooted in identity, culture, and conscious living.
I was born and raised in Rajbiraj, Nepal, where I experienced the beauty of culture, simplicity, and community from a young age. These values have stayed with me throughout my journey, becoming the foundation of everything I do.
Growing up, I was always curious—about how things worked, how people lived, and how tradition and modernity could coexist. That curiosity eventually led me beyond Nepal, toward a path of learning, creating, and building.
I moved to Delhi, India, to pursue my B.Tech in Computer Engineering at Delhi Technological University (DTU), one of India’s top institutions. My academic journey was supported by the prestigious ICCR Scholarship from the Government of India—a recognition that I’m deeply grateful for.
At DTU, I immersed myself in programming, software development, and user experience design. But more importantly, I learned how to apply my technical skills with purpose and empathy.
I led full-cycle software projects as a Management Trainee, collaborating with cross-functional teams and implementing smart automation to boost efficiency.
These experiences didn’t just build my resume—they shaped my mindset. I understood that good design isn’t just about visuals; it’s about solving real problems for real people.
Blending my love for design, storytelling, and culture, I created Jayaka Fusion Fashion—a brand that celebrates Cultural heritage and transforms it into modern, wearable art.
Jayaka is a reflection of my values:
Respect for tradition
Passion for innovation
Commitment to ethical living
But Jayaka isn’t just about fashion. It’s also about wellness. Over the years, I’ve personally researched and used herbal, certified products from trusted brands, which we will be adding to our collection soon. I believe our skin deserves honesty, and our health deserves protection from chemical-heavy products that might silently harm us over time. As part of Jayaka’s mission, I aim to make these safe, effective wellness products accessible to everyone I can reach.
I’ve had the honor of attending major industry events such as:
The Economic Times Global Business Summit
India E-Mobility Show
Festival of Manufacturing in New Delhi
These experiences pushed me to think bigger—not just as a designer or engineer, but as a leader with a vision. Through Jayaka, I want to empower people—especially in Nepal and South Asia—to make confident, healthy, and conscious choices.
I’m not here just to sell clothes. I’m here to create a lifestyle movement. Whether it’s a hand-stitched outfit or a hand-blended herbal balm, I want everything I offer to be authentic, intentional, and healing.
I believe that what we wear and use should represent who we are—inside and out. Through Jayaka, I’m building a brand that speaks for every soul who wants to feel seen, rooted, and empowered.
